Project Description

LESHA CRAWLEY

Bio: I began my teaching career 27 years ago as a Title I Reading instructor for Bradley County Schools in Cleveland, TN. Charged with the responsibility of teaching struggling readers in grades K-5 to succeed, I quickly saw the potential for a rather new innovation in education at the time (computer assisted instruction) to not only motivate but improve student abilities. Educational technology became my passion! Since those early years in my career, I have been successful in writing numerous grants that not only started computer labs and technology integration in my school – but across my school district. My current position is Technology Coach for the district – a position I have held for the past 13 years. I love helping teachers leverage the power of technology to reach students!

A Note About The Answer Pad: TAP is great for quick formative assessment. Whether you are using the quick connect technique for assessing students on the spur of the moment, or using predetermined assessments that correspond to standards, TAP makes it easy to get an idea of how your students are doing.
